  • Color lithograph "Uxor Lot in Statuam Conversa" (Lot’s Wife Turned into a Statue (Pillar) of Salt, Genesis Chapter 19) from Salvador Dalí's monumental five-volume illustrated bible, published in Rome by Rizzoli, from 1967 thru 1969.  This lithograph comes from the "Luxus" edition limited to 1499 copies.  Included is the print, plus the chapter pages and the chapter's title page printed on Japon paper.  The print quality is superb and Albert Field notes in "The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dalí" that if you examine the original paintings and lithographs side by side, the only way to distinguish between the two is the paint on the originals.  Presented in a 1 1/2 inch wide handmade wood frame, with a silk conservation mat, and protected by Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic® glazing.  Print size: 19 x 13 3/4 inches; overall size with frame: 27 x 18 inches.  As with all of our framed art, the frame and framing materials are new.  The print is mint condition with brilliant colors, having never been previously displayed, and since framing is stored in a controlled environment away from light.
