One of three artist test prints for Salvador Dalí's "Fantastic Voyage" lithograph, published in 1965 by Sidney Z. Lucas, of the Phyllis Lucas Gallery.  Other than being composed of only the earth tone areas of the published print, it significantly differs from the published print by having Dalí's signature in stone.  Printed on ordinary paper that has been linen backed by our restorer (barely visible folds after backing).  Sheet size: 45 x 35 inches.  Compared to our other two test prints, it has the lightest coloring.  This is a truly unique print for the serious collector of Dalí art.

Salvador Dalí was simply one of the most famous and influential artists of the 20th century.  Dalí's works were characterized by his unique and imaginative style, blending surrealism with meticulous attention to detail.  His art often delved into the realms of dreams, the subconscious, and the irrational.  He was deeply influenced by the psychoanalytic theories of Sigmund Freud, which can be seen in his paintings that depict distorted, dreamlike landscapes and bizarre, melting objects.
