Claude Garache (born 1930) is a French painter, sculptor, illustrator, lithographer and and engraver, best known for female nude subjects. Much of his work uses only a few colors on a monochrome background. His sense of color and texture produces fascinating and compelling studies of the human figure, his only subject. Claude Garache's artistic career spanned many decades, and he exhibited his work widely in France and internationally. Although he may not be as well-known as some other prominent artists, his contributions to the art world, particularly in figurative painting, have been acknowledged by critics and collectors.
