  • We were fortunate to acquire a number of new old stock lithograph art posters. These posters are not reproductions or offset lithographs.  They are original first edition, true lithograph posters, and very collectible works of art.  This poster is one of these acquisitions, printed in 1978 by renowned Imprimerie ARTE in Paris for an exhibition of Palazuelo's work at Galerie Maeght.  Poster size: 31 x 18 inches.  Mint condition new old stock.

Pablo Palazuelo (1915-2007) was a Spanish abstract artist known for his geometric and organic abstract paintings and sculptures, and was associated with Constructivism and Geometric Abstraction.  Born in Madrid, Spain, Palazuelo studied architecture before devoting himself entirely to art.  Palazuelo's artwork was influenced by various sources, including mathematics, music, philosophy, and nature.  He explored the interplay of lines, shapes, and colors to create harmonious compositions that sought to evoke a sense of balance and order.  His works often featured intricate geometric patterns, overlapping forms, and a sense of depth and movement.  Pablo Palazuelo's work continues to be celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship, intellectual rigor, and exploration of abstract forms and concepts.  His artistic legacy continues to inspire and influence contemporary artists interested in the exploration of Geometric Abstraction.
