An original full color lithograph after a Georges Rouault painting.  The verso has a lithograph by Andre Derain.  Printed by the renowned Mourlot Frères in 1939. Excellent condition, with vibrant colors and minimal age-related toning. Sheet size: 14 x 10 inches.
 
Georges Rouault (1871-1958) was a French painter and print artist, associated with Fauvism and Expressionism movements.  Early in his career, he was influenced by Henri Matisse and particularly by Vincent van Gogh.  Human nature was the primary focus of his interests.
