  • This etching depicts the Empire State Building, with the "Little Church" (Church of the Transfiguration), in the foreground. Charming in its detail, the church has always been a favorite of New York's theatrical world -- many famous weddings and funerals of distinguished Thespians have taken place within its walls. The five biplane aircraft near the Empire State Building could be a nod to King Kong.  Excellent condition, with a pleasing antique patina.  Published by Bard Brothers in 1939.  Sheet size 11 x 9 inches; print size 9 3/4  x 7 inches.  Contact us for framing options.
