  • This print is from the "Progressions 3" portfolio published as a 1974 compendium of Victor Vasarely's work.  The print's verso provides the original's publishing date and size.  Printed on heavy, high-gloss paper by Editions du Griffon Neuchatel (Switzerland), these are among the highest quality fine art offset prints ever published.  Print size: 16 x 16 inches.  Presented in a gloss black frame with double conservation matting, and protected by Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic® glazing.  The print is mint condition new old-stock, having never been displayed, and once framed is stored in a controlled environment away from light.  Overall size with frame: 22 x 22 inches.
     
    Victor Vasarely was a Hungarian-French artist, who was a pioneer of the Op Art (Optical Art) movement.  Op Art works are abstract that give the viewer an impression of movement using vibrating patterns, swelling, or warping.
